Hey gang, we're about 3 months into Trench Warfare Report being an actual thing. I really appreciate everything and you all who have signed up. As some of you may know, my son Roman, Aka Man-Cub, has Autism Spectrum Disorder. He's high functioning and has made a ton of progress due to the great therapists he has, and most people who don't know him think he's a pretty neurotypical kid. With that though, we've had him in therapy since he was 14 months old. He'll be six in July.
The therapy team that he goes to see doesn't take the benefits I've had at work in network, and so for the longest time we bought a policy off of the open market through blue cross/blue shield. Well when obamacare crashed, blue cross/blue shield kc stopped offering plans, and long story short, finding one to cover him and keep him in therapy hit us for about 600 a month. On top of that, the amount we have to hit for the insurance to pay is about 7,500 annually, so needless to say it's about 1200 a month.
Why this is relevant to you guys is that the last couple of weeks I decided to take a part time job in the mornings to supplement my full time job. I went through orientation last week, and that's why the videos haven't been coming in the volume they once were. I was able to nail down a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule, so I'm going to be able to start hitting the videos hard again tomorrow afternoon. I'll work it out so that we have videos pretty much every weekday mixed in with a few blog posts.
Just wanted to let you know that I haven't got lazy on you all, just got some irons in the fire. Thanks again for being Trenchers!
